JOB DESCRIPTION
Excellent opportunity for a self-driven experienced Human Resource Manager to join a great established global manufacturer and visionary team as they scale up operations here in the US. The HR Manager will be leading all generalist functions including payroll, onboarding, employee engagement, policies, compensation, benefits, employee relations and talent acquisition. The HR Manager will also be partner with the General Manager in implementing a new performance management system to help drive profitability and revenue objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a part of the management team and work with the General Manager to align the Human Resource department with the company’s objectives, vision, mission statement and core values.
Responsible for the management of all Generalist functions.
Be the lead person along with the General Manager in the implementation of a new performance management system.
Translate the organization’s needs and goals into HR strategies that will align with key metrics and performance tracking for KPI’s and revenue achievement.
Oversee employee compensation programs, understanding and establishing pay scales and performing analysis to track labor costs.
Oversee workforce planning and talent management processes to identify and address competency, and areas of emphasis include staffing, talent development and succession planning programs to ensure the organization is prepared to meet short- and long-term goals.
Develop and execute in partnership with team members to maintain and improve employee engagement.
Provide coaching and guidance regarding employee management and individual development plans.
Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
providing consultation to managers with respect to performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, etc.
Manage benefit administration for all employees – medical, dental, vision and supplemental plans.
Ensuring and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and employment practices such as FMLA, Drug Free workplace and others.
Monitoring the salary administration and performance appraisal process, ensuring timely adherence and review for appropriateness and completeness.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration.
At least 6 years of experience as an HR Manager in a plant manufacturing environment.
Experienced managing all generalist functions of HR, employee relations and conflict resolution.
Experience in implementing or utilizing a performance management system for establishing metrics, objectives and achievement measurement.
